Individualized Treatment Plans

There is no single treatment plan that is appropriate for every patient. Treatment recommendations are based on the underlying diagnosis, previous therapies, current symptoms, medical history, medication risks, functional goals, and response to treatment.

Care may include medication management, non-opioid therapies, coordination with specialists, recommendations regarding activity and function, and other appropriate treatment strategies.

When controlled medications are considered, treatment decisions are made on an individual clinical basis and require appropriate evaluation, monitoring, and ongoing follow-up.
